Blessings of Challenges and Wisdom

As I happily follow and read the news on World Youth Day 2013 in Brazil, it gave me again reflective thoughts of how WYD 1995 had changed my life paving way to my harder, darker, sadder struggling years in Switzerland where worst bitter circumstances I have transformed into a better determined awakening, sharing and inspiring. A wholesome moral, logical, emotional, professional, intellectual, spiritual and maternal growth emerged out of those struggles, as you find me nowadays sharing daily thoughts of inspirations.

Looking back through all these years, God blessed me with challenges as I embrace many graces of wisdom. Without losing faith in God, years after my awakening and my prayers in Mont Saint Michel in 2006, He answered my prayers as He blessed me, Teresa and Giulia with Camiel and Elisa in 2008 and 2009.

God never forgets nor forsake a used, battered, strong, faithful, repentant, meek and generous heart.

Big Feet

We were eating a delicious, healthy light lunch of tzatziki and Greek salad when Elisa said: “I want to be bigger.”
We asked her, “Why?”
Elisa replied, “Because I want a bigger feet.”
So we were curious, “Why do you want to have a bigger feet?”
She answered smiling, “I want to be the boss.”

Camiel told her, “We’ll see. First eat well so you will be stronger and bigger.”

Elisa smiled back, “aw Papa!”

I was very amused and reflected…

So, are you a boss?
Do you have big feet?

Take a look at your feet, is it big? Is it small? You are not yet a boss? Then you’ve got some road to walk and work on to be one.

Big or small feet, boss or not: never tread on the rights of others nor trample on the good will and good deeds of others.

A respectful, honest, fair, productive, compassionate, understanding, humble, supportive, precise, systematic, industrious boss is good to have yet to have one with all those qualities combined is a great luck in any working atmosphere.

Melt It, The Unique Way

20130725-072218.jpg

You have the power to melt any relationship damages and miscommunication through humble acceptance, proper dialogue and sincere forgiveness.

One’s resentment and hatred rising from offensive circumstances or very disappointing situations involving human relationship can melt like a sweet ice cream when one faces the reality, accepts the situation, do something about to improve the circumstance and forgive any form of misgivings.

It is not easy to forgive especially if the offenses done to us are repetitive, however, we are also given a chance and choice to either suffer in anger or resolve matters in a peaceful and harmonious manner.

Seeking purity of one’s heart who embraces meek acceptance by first forgiving one’s self before we can forgive others is a step towards the path of forgiveness.

Forgiveness melts anything in its most unique, touching way.

An honest dialogue which involves true deep listening and honest opening topped with respect give way to effective communication to patch up any misunderstanding.

Time bring roses

20130724-230020.jpg

How do we embrace forgiveness?

The road to real forgiveness sometimes require time, the right moment and humble disposition in anyone’s heart. It can be as delicate as rose petals as it emerged from its supporting thorns before it bloomed to its unique beauty.

True forgiveness to anything or anyone or any circumstances is simply like that, it can be a beautiful sight like the delicate rose in full bloom yet deep in its heart has conquered the defensive and offensive thorns of pain as the beautiful impact of shared forgiveness is peace and harmony.

Time bring roses as the Yiddish proverb says.
I’d say: Time, humble heart of acceptance, inner peace, full understanding bring true forgiveness.

“Forgiveness is often times elusive but it can be one’s humble, peaceful and harmonious choice.”
